SDGI enjoys a respectable rank amongst MDU (UGC A+ Grade Government University) affiliated colleges in Delhi-NCR. There are two institutes under the SDGI umbrella, namely - SHEELA DEVI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT & TECHNOLOGY (SDIMT) & SHEELA DEVI POLYTECHNIC (SDP). Both institutes have been in the forefront, imparting high quality professional and technical education to more than 800 students from various parts of the country.

SDP is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and by Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula. SDP offers 3 Year Diploma programme in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile & Computer Engineering to 10th pass students and a 2 Year programme in the same branches to 12th pass students and ITI graduates. Our students have been placed and are currently working in Escorts Mahindra, Indian Oil, JCB, Omaxe, Reliance infrastructure, Hindustan Petrolium. Hero motocorp, DLF, Sriram pistons, KEI cables, etc.

SDIMT, established in 2008, is a management college under the SDGI umbrella and is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It offers 3 Year BBA, BCA & 4 year BHM - UG Degree Programs affiliated to M D University Rohtak, Haryana. Our management students have been placed in Flipkart, Snapdeal, Naukri.com, Synergy consultants, Axis bank, Hyundai, Airtel M-tech Mahindra, Reliance , Egon religare, etc. Our Hotel Management students are working in prestigious hotels like Hotel Sewagrand, The Lalit, Hotel Atrium, Hotel Rajhans, Hotel Delight, Hotal Surya, Taj Ginger, The wine in Delhi NCR.

SDIMT was awarded as ‘The Best Up-coming Management Institute in NCR’ for the year 2010 & Best` Management Institute in NCR for the year 2011 & 2012. The award was conferred by Dr Kiran Bedi, Mr. Chetan Bhagat & Dr. Shashi Tharoor respectively.

The SDGI campus is spread across 6 acres of land with a built-up area in excess of 100,000 square feet and boasts of a fully integrated Wi-Fi and a fully air-conditioned campus; smart class rooms with latest teaching aids inclusive of overhead projectors; a modern and technology aided seminar hall; board-room; state-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity in excess of 500 people; state-of-the-art computer labs; well stocked library with more than 5000 titles and a subscription of more than 5800 on-line journals and a host of national and international journals catering to the diversified academic and research needs of the students and faculty members.
