SDGI provides world class facilities in terms of reference material required by the students. The library houses more than 5000 books,150 national and international journals, 50 technical CDs.The campus Library is a modern library meant to fulfil the information needs of students, faculty and staff of various Departments of the College.

E-Granthalaya- a multi user Integrated Library Automation Software developed by NIC, Govt. of India and a Bar-Code based circulation system is in use.

LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP

The following shall be entitled to enrol themselves as members of the library:

1. The faculty members of various departments.
2. Non-teaching staff of the university.
3. All the students and research scholars enrolled in the various departments of the university.

Those who are willing to become member of the University Library are required to fill up library membership card dully recommended by the chairperson/ head of the department. Each member has been issued a non-transferable bar coded library card.
